Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information the free online game Machine Party (the “Game”, at machine-party.com) collects when you play, how that information is used, and the choices you have. Machine Party is a browser-based, instant-play party game — you do not need to create an account, and we never ask for your real name, email address or payment details in order to play.

Who we are

Machine Party is made and operated by SunMonkey Studio. If you have any question about this policy or your data, contact us at [email protected], or see our Contact page.

Information we store on your device

So you can keep your settings and progress, the Game saves data locally in your browser (using local storage) or, in the mobile app, in the app’s own storage. This data stays on your device and includes:

You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for machine-party.com, or by uninstalling the app. Clearing it resets your local progress and settings.

Information sent to our servers

Machine Party is an online multiplayer game. Our game servers run on Cloudflare. When you play online, the following is processed:

Advertising

The website itself does not run advertising banners inside the game canvas. The optional Android and iOS apps may show ads, including rewarded ads you choose to watch and occasional interstitial ads. Where ads are shown, third-party ad providers such as Google may use device identifiers to serve and measure ads and — where permitted — to show personalised ads.

You can control how Google personalises ads to you at myadcenter.google.com, and read how Google uses data from its partners at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. In some regions you can also opt out of personalised advertising at optout.aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Game uses local storage rather than tracking cookies for its own features. Our infrastructure and advertising partners (Cloudflare, and Google in the mobile apps) may set cookies or use similar technologies as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; doing so will not stop you from playing.

Third-party services

These services process data under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

Children’s privacy

Machine Party is a family-friendly game, but it is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it. Where required, advertising shown to users we believe may be children is limited to non-personalised ads.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing such as personalised advertising. Because the Game does not require an account, most of your data lives on your own device and you can clear it yourself at any time. For any request about data held on our servers, such as a reserved display name, contact us at [email protected].

Data retention & security

Local data remains until you clear it. Server-side data is kept only as long as needed for the features described above. We use reasonable technical measures — including Cloudflare’s security infrastructure, salted password hashing and signed tokens — to protect data, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
